Hospital Chapel named in honor of Steve Handy

Pastoral Care Coordinator Gary Workman dedicates chapel in honor of outgoing CEO Steve Handy.

The WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital Chapel was dedicated in honor of CEO Steve Handy on Monday, as he departs the hospital after working for three decades making a healthy difference.

The dedication was conducted virtually and officiated by the hospital's Pastoral Care Coordinator, Gary Workman.

The newly named Steven Handy Chapel features the “Seasons of Life” stained glass, which was donated by Steve and his wife Laurie in 2018.

The chapel is located in the Main Corridor next to the Green Elevators and when not under visitation restrictions necessitated by COVID-19, visitors of all faiths are welcome to visit at any time.
