Visitor Policy

Visitor Guidelines

  • Do not visit if you have a cold or any contagious infection.
  • Obtain permission from the doctor or nurse before bringing food or medication to the patient.
  • Use public restrooms rather than the patient's bathroom.
  • Limit the number of people visiting to two so that it does not crowd the room, disturb other patients or affect the delivery of care.
  • Visitors may take turns at the bedside.
  • For the comfort of any additional visitors, waiting areas are provided on each floor.
  • The possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on hospital property.
  • Intoxicated or disorderly visitors will be asked to leave.
  • Visitors may be asked to leave the room due to the care needs of the patient.
  • To meet the spiritual needs of the patient, clergy members visit during regular visiting hours.
  • If you prefer to limit visitors, please notify a member of your healthcare team.
  • Smoking is prohibited on hospital grounds.

Visiting Hours

Visitors are welcome at Uniontown Hospital. To best serve our patients, visiting policy and hours vary according to hospital department and may occasionally be revised.

Visiting hours in the General Care Units are from 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily, depending on the patient's condition.

Parking and Hospital Entrances

The visitor parking lots are conveniently located adjacent to the hospital's main entrance. Parking is free.

The main entrance to the hospital is open from 4:45 a.m. to 9:15 p.m. every day. The main entrance has a drive-through area, which may be used for dropping off or picking up patients. From 9:15 p.m. to 4:45 a.m., visitors and patients must use the Emergency Department entrance located directly behind the main entrance to the hospital.
