Visiting Hours and Parking

Visitor Policy

We encourage visitation to patients by family and friends as an important factor in facilitating the healing process. Out of consideration to you and other patients, we ask that visitors comply with established Visitor Guidelines.

  • Do not visit if you have a cold or any contagious infection.
  • Obtain permission from the doctor or nurse before bringing food or medication to the patient.
  • Use public restrooms rather than the patient's bathroom.
  • Limit the number of people visiting to two so that it does not crowd the room, disturb other patients or affect the delivery of care.
  • Visitors may take turns at the bedside.
  • For the comfort of any additional visitors, waiting areas are provided on each floor.
  • The possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on hospital property.
  • Intoxicated or disorderly visitors will be asked to leave.
  • Visitors may be asked to leave the room due to the care needs of the patient.
  • To meet the spiritual needs of the patient, clergy members visit during regular visiting hours.
  • If you prefer to limit visitors, please notify a member of your healthcare team.
  • Smoking is prohibited on hospital grounds.
