Our Nutrition Services department prepares daily meals for all patients, taking into consideration taste preferences as well as nutritional requirements. Meals are selected from a daily menu featuring a variety of offerings. The menu selections from the daily menu are for the next day's meals. Selective menus based on special diets prescribed by your doctor are also available. Our dietitian is on hand to answer any questions you may have about food selection or to help make dietary adjustments. To contact the dietitian, call (724) 430-5048.
Our hospital cafeteria, located on the basement (B) level, is open to the general public during the following hours:
| 11 AM - 1:30 PM: | Lunch |
| 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM: | Soup, Salad, Sandwiches |
| 4:30 PM - 6 PM: | Dinner |
Also, the Garden Cafe, located on the main floor near patient registration, is open 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
Guest TraysGuest trays for visitors are available by calling Nutrition Services at extension 5048. The costs for these meals are $3.50 for breakfast, $5.50 for lunch and $5.50 for dinner. Visitors may also use the Hospital Cafeteria, vending machines on the basement, main and third floors or the Garden Cafe on the main floor.
Gift ShopPatients and visitors may visit the Gift Shop, located on the main floor near the main lobby. Please consult with your nurse if you have special dietary needs. The Gift Shop hours are 7:30 AM to 8:30 PM Monday through Friday and 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM Saturday and Sunday.
