Scott Electric Foundation Donation

11/21/2014

Uniontown Hospital recently received a donation of $10,000 from Scott Electric and the Scott Electric Foundation for use on deferred maintenance work at the hospital and for improvements to the hospital’s visitor’s café.

The donation was presented in honor of Scott Electric’s relationship with hospital board member William Ulmer who is the vice president of E.W. Bowman, a manufacturing company based in Uniontown.

“This is a tremendous way of showing appreciation and, on behalf of the hospital, I am honored to be the beneficiary,” hospital CEO Steve Handy said, noting that the café was originally made possible through a donation from the Ulmer family.
